A Whole New World

I'm obsessed with Disney. Never thought I would be but then again i never thought i was going to be into kpop or survive textiles or write this blogpost when I'm meant to be doing math.

I've always loved Mulan ever since i watched in year 7 for an English storyboard or something. I love it! Both 1 and 2. I think 1 is a little better because they only made 2 because 1 is so good. The reason i love it is because it has a Chinese background. It's probably my favourite Disney movie.

Little Mermaid is also pretty good, because I really like the songs in there. But apart from that, i've never been into Disney stuff. But you know when you have friends who are obsessed with it you somehow just get obsessed too after they recommend it to you. So I watched Lion King and that's where it started. The first time, I thought the movie was good, only because it had a character exactly like me - Ed. When I watched Lion King 2, I fell in love... with Simba.

Yes I am in love with a lion. Simba has abs!!! Actually i'm not sure if it's just fat being squeezed. But he is pretty hot for a lion.

Recently I've been watching a LOT of Disney movies, and I mean a lot, like one a night. I've rewatched Cars, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Tangled and The Little Mermaid. I cried in all of them. I find simple things very touching, like Mulan's love for her father and Repunzel finally seeing the lights.

I've also been in love with songs! You should definitely go listen to 'I see the Light' from Tangled, 'A Whole New World' from Aladdin and 'Can you feel the love tonight' from Lion King. They are my favourites and have been taking turns being stuck in my head.
