So let me tell u about the party. I was the third to arrive, after JL and Sheree who went in one car. We explored her house, which was pretty different from what I remember (I've been there in year 7). She had this really cool red sofas which added a great 'pop' of colour in her living room and some great asian decorations going on.
Then more people came so I started snacking from the food table and kept snacking as people set up games. We played Scattergories while waiting for Vanessa. Then she joined me because I sucked so much I had to put Obama for 'things you can find in the desert'. Then we got so much better; in fact our scores doubled each time - 2,4,8 - 14 altogether. Sarah+JG ended up winning the game.
We ordered pizza and Elizabeth's mum also got Turkish pide (which was delicious!!). There was so much food prepared also like chips, fish, etc. Anyways you know how when you go to other people's houses you're meant to be polite and constrict yourself in eating. Well I did the exact opposite. I ate (soorry Elizabeth)...
5 pizzas pieces(had to try every flavour),
2 pides (chicken inside was too yummy to be true; didn't look like this btw)
3 cups of coke (chicken pizza was pretty chilly so I had to cool myself down)
one garlic bread (smelt too nice)
fish schnitzel (thought it was chicken)
and a bunch of chips
We then played Cranium. It was sooo fun!!! It wasn't like a normal board game. We got into groups of 3 by random and I was with Elizabeth and JL. The game had us on our feet and we had to do everything from drawing with our eyes closed to acting out movies to shaping playdough into different objects. But our group also got a lot of boring ones like answering questions or unjumbling words. It was still so fun!! I swear I need to get my hands on that game sometime.
Cranium was so fun that it wasn't until 9:15 when we finally ate the cake and Elizabeth opened her presents. We got her a Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume set with a million samples and a Calvin Klein makeup bag/wallet, a Rimmel bronzer, a really big and long happy birthday marshmallow letter thing, an alarm clock from Typo and a bunch of photoframes with the Olympic ring colours where we put photos which contained precious memories inside. Overall I think we gave her some awesome presents, which are sure to break my wallet. But you know, it's all worth it in the end because I think she liked it.
In summary, such an awesome party. Had heaps of fun. Came home with a party bag too and a kiwi lipsmacker (my first lipsmacker btw). Anyways, happy birthday again Elizabeth! Congrats for turning 16 and you should get your L's soon :)
