YG audition Sydney 2012

I just came back home from a very tiring day. First I woke up at 6 in the morning because I was feeling really nervous and couldn't sleep. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos on singing and copied the warm up exercises and ended up waking the entire house. Then I decided since it's an audition and it was getting filmed, I wanted to cover the 'chicken chilly tenders' on my face (a.k.a. Pimples). So I used my Revlon Colorstay Foundation mixed with Garnier BB Cream and finished with some powder, blush and lipstick.

Sheree came to pick me up and off we went. When we got there, there was already a lot of people even though it was still earlier than the official audition time. Everyone was so fashionable and talented looking and here I was looking like I was in my pyjamas.

Sheree already had a number so she went first. I decided to sing 'Defying Gravity' and she sang W by JYJ. I've been helping her for the past week and she has improved a lot. I'm sure she sounded amazing and I hope she gets in because it's one of her dreams but I'm really gonna miss her if she ends up going to Korea.

After finding some schoolmates and lining up in the hot sun, I made some friends while I was cooked to a 'well-done' steak. One of the guys I met came all the way from Melbourne without telling his parents. He's 17 and has blonde hair even though he was Chinese. It was pretty interesting to talk to him and some other people and I realised something amazing - I don't get nervous around guys anymore.

When I went inside to sit to wait for my turn, I felt really nervous. My friend Jojo was next to me and she must have been pretty annoyed because I kept humming. When it was my turn I went inside the hall and there were 6 people who were auditioning seated down, one judge, 2 film crews and 1 video camera. I positioned myself on the cross we were meant to stand on and sang, off-tune. So I had to start again and because I was so nervous I forgot to smile :( and I forgot to tell them to bring Big Bang to Australia. I got cut off at the end of my first chorus and that was the end of my audition.

Afterwards me and Sheree had lunch, took some photos and went shopping. Overall it was a really fun experience and I'm glad I decided to try something new thanks to a very inspiring speech at camp :)
